Our collections are exclusively hand-made and produced from un-dyed and/or eco-dyed hand-spun yarn of 100% premium natural fibers (wool, cotton, silk). Wool, cotton, and silk have zero microplastic pollution, low climate impact and carbon footprints. Wool is an organic, high-performance, durable, biodegradable, recyclable, fire safe, and asthma/allergy friendly fiber. Cotton is a natural fiber and breathable, with good anti-static properties. With organic raw materials, bio-mordants and plant-derived dyeing, Zilu is a sustainable eco-system from raw material preparations to final products. We Dye GREEN! We exclusively developed bio-mordants and plant-derived pigments for dyeing purposes. We Weave GREEN! Our collections combines traditional elements of handmade rug weaving techniques.
